During my student years I crushed a bit on a girl who painted.
We were decorating floats for the university’s rag-week parade.
I needed the paint she was hogging and diplomatic solutions to the dilemma
did not prevail.
I had to procure the bucket by force.
A wrestling match of sorts ensued and being of superior weight I all but crushed her paper-mache project and barely avoided injuring her.
Painting can be a contact-sport.
Afterwards we just smiled at the damage we had caused to the float because the misshapen forms were surely art!
