Black Widow ( Natasha Romanoff) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by editor and plotter Stan Lee, scripter Don Rico, and artist Don Heck, the character first appeared in Tales of Suspense No. 52 (April 1964). The character was first introduced as a Russian spy, an antagonist of the superhero Iron Man. She later defected to the United States, becoming an agent of the fictional spy agency S.H.I.E.L.D., and a member of the superhero team the Avengers.

This is my version of the Black Widow’s ORIGINAL costume.

Ok, so what were they thinking in 1964? This concept is almost “street-walker meets Halloween”? What do you think?
This is a far cry from the classic and simplified black bodysuit that defined the latter-day Black Widow.
